Finnish Seed Trade Association

The Finnish Seed Trade Association consists of companies engaged in seed trade. The association has four sections: Plant Breeding, Field Crops, Horticulture and Seed Potato Section.

The sections are responsible for the association's activities in their own areas. On behalf of its member companies, the Plant Breeding Section is responsible for invoicing farmers that use farm saved seed (FSS fee) of protected varieties. The Grass Seed Working Group placed under the Horticulture Section prepares the quality classification for grass seed.
