The European Commission issued legislative proposals as part of the package of measures for the sustainable use of natural resources

On July 5, 2023, the European Commission issued legislative proposals related to the Commission's package of measures on the sustainable use of natural resources. The proposals concerning agriculture and forestry are related to the production, marketing and import of plant propagation material and forestry material, as well as new genome editing techniques.
